The Challenge
Worship software in niche communities often suffers from being resource-heavy (Electron-based) or visually outdated. The SDA community needed a tool that was lightning-fast on older hardware while maintaining a "Pro" aesthetic for modern live broadcasts without the complexity of enterprise-scale AV software.

The Solution
I engineered a hybrid architecture using Tauri and Rust to deliver a near-zero footprint desktop application. By integrating React 19 and the Effect library, I ensured the UI was reactive and the state management for live hymn synchronization was virtually bulletproof, even during long-running services.
Native Desktop App for Windows, macOS, and Linux
High-performance Web Interface for remote access
Rust-powered backend for system-level stability
Modular Hymn Data management system
Minimalist, distraction-free Broadcast UI
Sub-20MB application footprint
